
Pay attention to the thickness of the comb.



Sumatra chicks can be sexed as early as 3 weeks old. Females have a thin center comb line, while males develop a thicker comb with a main center line and two side lines.



By around 12 weeks old males will devleop pointy-shinny saddle feathers (new feathers growing on the spine line) while females will only have wider feathers
