Our promises to our customers

At Pip & Grow, we take great care to ensure the health and well-being of our chicks. We provide a warranty for up to 48 hours after pick-up, allowing our customers peace of mind as their new arrivals settle into their new homes.

The hatching process is truly a marvel of nature, but it can be exhausting for the chicks involved. While most chicks become active and begin eating and drinking within 48 hours after hatching, there are instances where some may not fully recover. Despite our meticulous inspection of each chick for deformities, faults, or signs of fitness immediately after hatching, there is a possibility of misjudgment, particularly as many chicks are picked up within 12 to 24 hours after hatching.

We understand the importance of ensuring the health and vitality of every chick, and we stand by our commitment to providing healthy chicks. If any issues arise within the 48-hour warranty period, such as abnormal behavior or continuous loud chirping, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are committed to addressing your concerns promptly and ensuring the well-being of your chicks.

*Conditions Apply:

1. This warranty is void if the chicks have traveled for longer than 2 hours from our location.
2. The warranty does not apply if the customer fails to provide the required care or if the issue is determined to be due to the customer’s fault. More details in Terms & Conditions “Dayold chick” 5.
3. Video or photo evidence may be requested to assess the situation and validate any claims.

We take pride in offering Auto sexed day-old chicks, which come with the assurance of accurate sexing. Unlike traditional methods such as vent or probe sexing, our Auto sexed chicks hatch with distinct markings and colors that allow us to accurately determine their sex based on their appearance. These characteristics are genetically determined by the birds themselves, eliminating the potential for human error in sexing. More info about Auto sexing

For heritage breeds and other non-Auto sexing breeds, we take special care to ensure accurate sexing before offering them to our customers. We typically wait until the birds are a bit older and we can confidently determine their sex. Our process relies on the experience and knowledge of our team to accurately sex the birds. Despite our best efforts, there may be rare occasions where errors occur in judgment. We strive for accuracy, but we understand that mistakes can happen.

If you discover that any of our sexed birds are incorrectly sexed, we offer either a refund of the purchase price or a replacement guarantee for any inaccurately sexed bird. Please reach out to us *promptly if you believe there has been an error, and we will take swift action to address the issue.

1. We encourage you to reach out to us immediately, without waiting for days or weeks to be absolutely certain. The sooner you notify us, the better we can address the issue. Please note that this guarantee is only valid within 3 weeks from the date of purchase.
2. In order to assess the situation and validate any claims, video or photo evidence may be requested.
3. We reserve the right to reject your claim if we believe the evidence provided does not align with the claim.
